"Growing up is hard. Talking about it can be too. Working with children and adolescents, I strive to meet the client where they’re at to help emphasize that therapy doesn’t have to be an intimidating experience, but rather an experience that they can benefit from. Utilizing a clients individual interests to tailor their treatment is something I not only pride myself on, but enjoy engaging in. This helps the client feel more comfortable in sessions and more comfortable implementation skills learned for their daily lives."
Kelly has experience in working with Anxiety, ADHD, and Autism children, teens, and young adults ages 5-22. She utilizes therapy interventions such as mindfulness, play therapy techniques, different forms of creative expression and basic talk therapy.
Kelly graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from State University of New York (SUNY) - Brockport, NY and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Scranton, Scranton, PA. She is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and has ran 10 half marathons.
