Brick Club

What is Brick Club?

Brick Club is a club where young people can have fun building LEGO® models as a team.

Brick Clubs are designed to help young people have fun together and develop skills such as team-work, problem- solving, communication and creativity.  Brick Clubs are relaxed, structured and inclusive.

Brick Clubs are delivered using the Brick-by-Brick® programme methodology that has been developed by Play Included and the LEGO® Foundation, and is evidence- based.

Participants must attend a one-time assessment prior to their participation in group to determine appropriateness.

In Brick Club, young people always build LEGO® models in a small team. There are lots of different LEGO® building activities. Normally, young
people start with building LEGO® sets following instructions. They build the set with one or two other people.

If 3 people build together, each person has a different job. These can be called the Engineer, Supplier and Builder. Each person takes it in turns to do each of these jobs.
