Parenting workshops are not just for young or inexperienced parents; they're for everyone who wants to be a better parent. They require active parent participation and discussion. The more engaged parents are in parenting workshops, the better their confidence, the more positive their view of their role as a parent, and the greater the levels of interaction with their children.
3 Ps of Parenting is a workshop for any adult to interact with any child. It teaches the use of play therapy and behavior management skills to increase positive behaviors, child compliance, and limit setting.
De-escalation is the reduction in the intensity of a conflict. Unlike escalation, which often occurs rapidly and unintentionally, de-escalation tends to be slow and only happens intentionally through much effort. This workshop will explore multiple approaches to support caregivers and children.
Parents will learn how to use play therapy and positive parenting skills to improve their child's behavior and their relationship with their child.
Parenting will learn strategies for supporting their child through anxiety.
Parents will learn skills and effective strategies to improve child compliance and cooperation.
