Theresa is a fourth-year Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) student at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing at Allegheny College. Theresa received a Master’s of Arts in Applied Clinical Psychology at Penn State Behrend in Erie, PA. She has a certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and is a Certified PCIT Therapist by PCIT International. Theresa has over 8 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in school-based, in-home, and community settings. She specializes in working with children and adolescents with behavioral disorders and anxiety. Theresa strives to make her clients feel supported, valued, and empowered. She pulls from the feminist therapeutic orientation and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Theresa also has experience researching gender roles, sexual trauma, and creative writing as a form of coping.
Theresa has immediate availability and offers counseling sessions for a reduced private pay rate of $85 for the initial intake appointment and $70 for each subsequent appointment. She is also able to accept Aetna and Cigna/Evernorth health insurance plans.
