We realize that no two families or individuals are the same and as such we tailor our treatments to meet the specific needs of our clients and families. Our child and counseling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help children develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of life.
We provide child counseling in a safe and supportive environment for children to be able express themselves in an open and honest manner.. We have experience in a number of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), child-centered play therapy, mindfulness, and relaxation. These comprehensive treatment interventions first seek to assess an individual’s symptoms, identify relevant diagnoses, and pinpoint specific causes. Treatment then identifies and targets individualized goals and tracks progress. During counseling session we work build skills for kids to better manage and cope with stressful situations in a more effective manner.
