Michael is an Outpatient Therapist trained in PCIT and who primarily works with youth, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, trauma, or who are seeking assistance in responding to recent changes or new stressors.
"I work with a variety of clients, ranging in age from 2 years old through late 20s and early 30s. My hope is that I can help individuals and families learn more effective ways to respond to challenges in their lives that may come from things such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, depression, anxiety, and adjusting to large changes."
Michael utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Parts Work Therapy, and Reality Therapy. He received his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA. In his free time, Michael enjoys cooking and baking, reading Sci Fi, playing video games, and doting over his cat, Dexter.
He is able to accept clients who are private pay or wish to use their insurance benefits through Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, Highmark/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Geisinger, Optum/United Health Care, or UPMC Commercial Plans
