With more than two decades of experience in leadership and communications, Roya brings a unique background to the counseling profession—one grounded in deep listening, strategic thinking, and relationship-building. Her career has been centered on understanding people’s needs, navigating complex dynamics, and creating spaces where individuals feel seen and heard. These skills naturally inform her clinical work and her commitment to fostering a safe, collaborative, and compassionate therapeutic environment.
Roya is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Chatham University and completing her clinical training at Pittsburgh PCIT and Counseling. She is especially interested in working with children, adolescents, and emerging adults (ages 18-29). She brings a trauma-informed awareness to her practice, helping clients navigate transitions, develop coping skills to manage depression and anxiety, deepen understanding of self, and celebrate successes.
Roya approaches each client with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to tailoring treatment to their individual goals. She intends to walk alongside clients with the same care, clarity, and encouragement that has defined her leadership style.
Roya is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Arts Management and received a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Ball State University. Outside of work and school, Roya enjoys art of all kinds, spending time with her spoiled dog and cats, and traveling as often as possible.
Roya currently offers a reduced out-of-pocket fee of $40 per appointment.
