Pre-School Social Skills Group

Attention parents of children ages 3-5!

Does your child have difficulty making friends or interacting with other kids?

What about listening to their teachers or interacting with other adults?

Our social skills group for children between the ages of 3-5 will promote positive peer engagement. This group is for children who struggle with:

  • Sharing/turn taking
  • Engaging in reciprocal conversations
  • Empathy and emotional regulation
  • Understanding rules and following expectations

Each weekly session will highlight a social skill through use of songs, videos, books, and art.  Children will also participate in both structured and unstructured play while therapist observes, models, and supports the use of positive social engagement skills.

Participants must attend a one-time assessment prior to beginning in group to determine appropriateness.

The cost is $45 per session private pay.

Aetna,  Cigna, Highmark/BCBS and UPMC insurance accepted.
