Children are a big part of your life.
You’re a parent, a childcare worker, a nanny, or a teacher. Being around children or working with children is a big part of your day.
Some days, nothing seems to work. The children in your life are struggling with their behavior – tantrums, attention-seeking, or sharing. You wish you could find a better way to manage and interact.
3 Ps of Parenting is a workshop for any adult to interact with any child. It seeks to increase positive child-adult interaction, child compliance, and child engagement.
This one time workshop is not therapy, but can compliment ongoing therapeutic services or help jump start parent skills for families on waitlists for PCIT or counseling for their child, or who cannot commit weekly therapy appointment but you know you need some help now.
3 Ps of Parenting uses ideas and skills derived from evidence-based, positive parenting programs such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE).
This training workshops includes an educational component and active practice. The clinician teaches skills through live coaching and caregivers practicing skills while being coached.
Cost: $200
Please note: these skills training workshops are offered as an educational service and will therefore not be insurance reimbursable.
This adult only workshop is available virtually via Google Meet or in-person at our North Hills office.
· 3 Ps of Parenting requires active adult participation and engagement during workshop
