Supporting Kids with Anxiety

This workshop will review how child anxiety can be reinforced and introduce strategies for supporting children through anxiety provoking situations. 

This workshop will help you:

• Understand various types of anxiety disorders in children and their symptoms. 
• Understand supportive parenting strategies and generate supportive statements for childhood anxiety. 
• Understand what not to do when your child faces anxiety and when you can intervene.  

This one time workshop is not therapy, but can compliment ongoing therapeutic services or help jump start parent skills for families on waitlists  for counseling, or who cannot commit weekly therapy appointment but you know you need some help now.
